| On June 3, 2002, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Golden Jubilee with the iconic "Party at the Palace" concert in the Buckingham Palace garden, featuring performances by Queen, Paul McCartney, and Elton John. The event, part of the Golden Jubilee Weekend (June 1–4), drew over 1 million people to the Mall and featured the lighting of the National Beacon. Anglemog celebrated with a trip to Ely Cathedral. |
